Automotive Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Claims Specialist to join our team at Ascent Administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in automotive mechanics and excellent communication skills to effectively assess vehicle repair claims and provide fair claim settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process automotive repair claims with precision and efficiency.
Utilize automotive mechanical knowledge to assess repair estimates and validate claims.
Work closely with repair shops, service advisors, and customers to resolve claim discrepancies.
Analyze repair orders and service reports to ensure repairs comply with policy and warranty guidelines.
Investigate claim details, request additional documentation if necessary, and make decisions on claim approvals or denials.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim documentation and communications.
Provide excellent customer service and timely responses throughout the claims process.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in claims adjusting, automotive repair, or a related field.
Strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems and repair procedures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of claims while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with claims management software is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
