Position Overview

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking part-time Field Survey Representatives to engage with local farmers and ranchers for essential data collection.

This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, capable of managing their own schedules, and adaptable to changing circumstances. Surveys will be conducted both via telephone and in-person, although current health guidelines may limit face-to-face interactions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for success.
  • Previous experience in telemarketing or census-related work is advantageous.

Your primary working area will be in designated regions, and a reliable vehicle along with a clean driving record is essential for conducting in-person surveys. Attendance at occasional workshops for various surveys will be required.

Compensation: Travel time, lodging, and mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate.

Most surveys are voluntary for the operator, and while you are not selling products, encountering rejection is a part of the process. Work assignments are detail-oriented and may vary in frequency. We are looking for individuals who are available to work on an as-needed basis.

A valid Driver's License is mandatory, along with necessary computer skills and a positive attitude.
