Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to clients by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and efficiently resolving issues. This position requires close collaboration with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless operations within the manufacturing framework.

Core Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, responding to inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding products, pricing, availability, and lead times.
  • Assist clients in selecting products and placing orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Order Management:
  • Accurately input and oversee customer orders in the company's ERP system.
  • Monitor orders throughout the manufacturing process and relay status updates to clients.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Address customer complaints, returns, and exchanges in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders, product quality concerns, and delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective measures and enhance customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain precise customer records, including order history and communication logs.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on customer service metrics, order status, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in developing and updating customer service procedures and policies.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work with the sales team to support account management and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Engage with the production department to prioritize orders based on client needs and inventory levels.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to review customer feedback and propose process enhancements.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is advantageous.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
