Position Overview
Infosys is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in .NET technologies.

The primary duty of this role is to convert software specifications into functional and maintainable solutions within the current application frameworks.

The selected candidate will leverage their technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, accurately gather requirements, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and define the scope of development.

This position demands meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to identify issues and implement corrections in a testing environment while contributing to the establishment and adherence to best practices for developing scalable, relevant, and essential applications.

Location Requirements
Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be open to relocation. Travel to project sites may be necessary.

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in information technologies.
  • Proficiency in .NET application development, including Web API and RESTful services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of experience with .NET C# and web service development.
  • Familiarity with .NET 4.6+, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server 2012, Web API, RESTful services, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with cloud platforms; PCF experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of implementing concurrent/parallel processing, memory management, and high-performance services in .NET.
  • Skills in performance tuning and optimization of .NET applications.
  • Experience in designing scalable solutions using .NET.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GIT and MS Build.
  • Experience with Bamboo and ProGet.
  • Understanding of design patterns (unit of work, repository, DI, singleton, factory, bridge), HTML5/CSS3, Microsoft testing framework/Mock Framework, PerForce/Visual Studio 2015.
  • Experience in test-driven development and pair programming.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and TDD approaches.
  • Willingness to work in a global delivery environment.
  • Ability to engage with clients and multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, and continuous integration/delivery.
  • Experience in application deployment on platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or other public/private cloud services.
Work Environment
The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Effective communication through various means is essential. Travel may be required based on job demands.
