Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work one-on-one and face-to-face with children, adolescents, and adults to assist in decreasing negative behaviors, promoting healthy choices, and utilizing new approaches or coping skills to manage life stressors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
  • Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to address their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health topics and resources.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
