Requirements

  • Valid Maryland state teaching certification for secondary education (high school level) is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience teaching in adult education or alternative education settings.
  • Familiarity with high school equivalency programs (GED, NEDP) and career readiness initiatives.
Work Environment

This position typically works indoors in a standard classroom or virtual environment, generally free from hazardous or unpleasant physical conditions.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $30 per hour. Instructor hours will vary based on student needs and school requirements.
