Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Yoga Instructor to lead yoga classes for older Veterans enrolled in the Gerofit program. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing yoga classes for older adults with chronic conditions and a strong observational skill to identify and report participant concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead yoga classes that cater to the specific needs of older Veterans.
  • Monitor and report any mobility or flexibility concerns to Gerofit staff after each class.
  • Ensure all yoga practices align with safety guidelines for older adults.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a yoga instructor with current and unrestricted status.
  • Experience in designing yoga classes for older adults with chronic conditions is preferred.
  • Strong observational skills to identify and report participant concerns.
  • Ability to adapt yoga practices to meet the specific needs of Veterans.
