Key Responsibilities- Task Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet flight schedules, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Supervision and Instruction: Assist management in supervising and instructing aircraft technicians in proper procedures and techniques for troubleshooting airframe and engine systems, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Component Management: Ensure all required components are ordered for timely availability, send items out for rework or repair as needed, and receive and inspect upon return.
- Engine Runs and Maintenance: Perform engine runs on aircraft as required and maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes (ASCs), Customer Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information, and other procedures related to aircraft maintenance and servicing.
- Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Inspections: Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions, such as fluid leaks and minor structural damage.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and supervise the use of special support equipment, such as power supply, hydraulic rig, nitrogen filler cart, and oxygen service cart, and assist in maintaining work schedules and updating of CMP cards.
- Quality Assurance: Review work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
- Financial Management: Review daily job charging to ensure accuracy of charges to aircraft.
- Experience: 5 years of aviation maintenance experience with advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance of mid/large-size aircraft.
- Certifications: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- License: Valid Driver's License.
- Salary: Based on experience.
