Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of routine product and quality evaluations, including packaging assessments, troubleshooting issues, and compiling reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly reports to provide insights into quality and packaging metrics for the department and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain departmental analyses and reporting as required.
  • Facilitate vendor enhancements through data-driven insights, accountability, and leadership.
  • Refine and enhance processes to meet customer requirements, including deadlines and quality/package standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Stores, Concierge, Product Development, Buying, and Distribution teams regarding issues and determine next steps to prevent future occurrences.
  • Issue vendor chargebacks as necessary and outline subsequent actions for current inventory and future production.
  • Engage with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of problems and formulate action plans.
  • Ensure all products are received in accordance with Arhaus Standard Operating Procedures and address any discrepancies with relevant parties.
  • Understand and follow job aids/work instructions or oral directives to achieve objectives related to minimizing quality/packaging returns and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as manufacturing, quality management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, packaging, or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), including deviation investigations, Out of Specification (OOS) reports, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and Change Controls.
  • Experience collaborating with domestic and international manufacturers is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and performance testing, including but not limited to CPSC, BFMA, UL, ETL, and GCC standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in utilizing functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
