About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IMS Database Systems Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, designing, monitoring, and troubleshooting client databases. You will also use specific database management utilities, develop and implement database recovery mechanisms and procedures, and coordinate security measures to safeguard database integrity.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.">
  • 10+ years of professional experience in IMS for administration and systems programming support.">
  • Extensive experience with database design and development.">
  • Familiarity with configure and manage IMS in a parallel sysplex environment.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.">
  • Knowledge of database security and compliance.">
  • Familiarity with database backup and recovery processes.">
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.">
  • Familiarity with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.">

Compensation

">

The estimated salary for this role is $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
