About the Role
">We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Database Administration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, designing, monitoring, and troubleshooting client databases. This includes using specific database management utilities, developing and implementing database recovery mechanisms and procedures, and coordinating security measures to safeguard database integrity.

Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.">
- 10+ years of professional experience in IMS for administration and systems programming support.">
- Extensive experience with database administration and support.">
- Familiarity with configure and manage IMS in a parallel sysplex environment.">
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.">
- Knowledge of database security and compliance.">
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery processes.">
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.">
- Familiarity with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.">
Compensation
">The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
