Job Overview

At St. Paul's Senior Services, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our community's seniors. We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Educator who can provide exceptional care and support to our young learners.

Position Summary:
The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for the daily management and oversight of the classroom environment, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of children in a warm and encouraging setting.
  • Guide and supervise children during various activities throughout the day. Develop and execute educational plans, lesson structures, and schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a Children’s Center permit from the California Commission on Teacher Preparation and Licensing.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold current pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of twelve (12) post-secondary semester units in early childhood education from an accredited institution, with at least three (3) units focused on infant and toddler care for those working with infants.
  • At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare facility or similar program.
