Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at The New-Indy Group. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical power systems, instrumentation, PLCs, and equipment in the plant. You will also perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties, install, remove, rig, align, or change out electrical distribution panels, transformers, motors, starters, breakers, and develop and stay current in cross-functional maintenance skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Read schematics and use test equipment to maintain and troubleshoot electrical power systems, instrumentation, PLCs, and equipment in the plant.
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure safe work practices.
  • Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members on work progress.
  • Install, remove, rig, align, or change out electrical distribution panels, transformers, motors, starters, breakers.
  • Develop and stay current in cross-functional maintenance skills.

Work Environment: The position involves working from ladders, scaffolds, and roof to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, as well as performing demanding tasks such as working on knees, moving and lifting heavy objects (not to exceed 50 lbs.), and standing for extended periods of time on concrete or grating.
