Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team at SSI Fire & Safety Holdings, LLC. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function and compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems, including cutting, threading, and assembling piping and tubes
  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to identify and address any issues or defects
  • Document all work performed, including inspections, tests, and repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience in fire protection or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years' experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems
  • Working knowledge of backflow inspections, troubleshooting, and report documentation
  • Experience in Fire Extinguisher inspection procedures
  • Experience in Fire Pump procedures and flow testing
  • Enthusiasm for technology and improving processes
