Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Maury Regional Medical Center. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing tests and reporting results for use in the diagnosis, treatment, and/or monitoring treatment of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tests and report results for use in the diagnosis, treatment, and/or monitoring treatment of diseases.
- Operate equipment or instruments necessary to perform high volume, less difficult analytical tests.
- Recognize instrument malfunction and make simple corrections using preset strategies or notify a supervisor.
- Perform and record all quality control procedures required for tests assayed.
- Recognize abnormal or unusual test results and follow departmental policy for reporting critical values.
Credentials / Education:
* Required: Licensure as Medical Lab Technician Required
* Preferred: One (1) Year Related Experience
