Deborah S. Larsen CPA is seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for multiple companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Compute and record numerical data, maintaining precise financial records.
- Verify the accuracy of business transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform data entry and administrative duties, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Process payroll weekly, semimonthly, and monthly for multiple companies, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings and payments, as well as federal tax deposits payments for payrolls processed.
- Filing of annual, quarterly, and monthly state excise tax returns for multiple companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed financial records.
- Deadline-oriented and detail-focused, with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
