Key Responsibilities: Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Assistant Controller and the Property Accounting Manager.
  • Assisting in the property accounting review process.
  • Managing the organization's bookkeeping and billing functions.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.
  • Conducting audits of team reports.
  • Handling banking operations.
  • Processing budgets.
  • Coding financial transactions.
  • Maintaining bank ledgers, deposits, and reconciliations.
  • Overseeing a client portfolio, including cash and accruals.
  • Executing month-end closing and reporting procedures.
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable along with all postings.
  • Preparing accounts payable lists and managing check processing.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper or in a comparable accounting position.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with Adobe is preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi or other real estate management software is advantageous.


Compensation Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.
