PC Construction is seeking a dynamic Safety Specialist to lead the company's safety initiatives in the Vermont region. As a key member of our safety team, you will work closely with superintendents and project managers to ensure a best-in-class EMR through a combination of compliance, enforcement, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure PC's safety policies are in accordance with OSHA and other safety regulations and company standards.
  • Assist project teams in the preparation of site-specific safety programs.
  • Communicate all company safety initiatives to ensure the highest level of awareness.
  • Conduct New Employee Safety Orientations.
  • Assist staff in the oversight of site safety.
  • Help resolve safety-related matters.
  • Help develop an overall culture of safety with a focus on people.
  • Conduct safety performance meetings with administrative staff.
  • Evaluate the status of required training.
  • Conduct training or arrange outside training resources on policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
