ROLE OVERVIEW
We are in search of a compliance expert to take on the role of Manager of Compliance Testing. In this position, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of a top-tier compliance testing and monitoring framework that utilizes data analytics. Additionally, you will manage our compliance issue management system and provide guidance on audit management. This position will report directly to the Director of Consumer Compliance.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The right candidate will be:
- An authority in compliance management system principles and practices with extensive experience in designing and implementing compliance testing and monitoring frameworks that reduce manual interventions;
- Skilled in compliance issue management within a financial organization;
- Proficient in overseeing third-party audits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement an automated, risk-focused Second Line compliance testing program that encompasses consumer financial products; assist the First Line in establishing integrated monitoring.

- Oversee the execution of our compliance issue management protocols, ensuring collaboration with First Line issue owners and tracking issues until resolution.

- Provide counsel on compliance audit response strategies and methodologies.

- Establish and uphold credibility as a compliance risk mitigation expert to effectively influence the First Line and foster a cultural transformation within Current.


QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management and testing within a financial institution.
- Ideally, experience across both traditional financial entities and fintech companies.
- Significant familiarity with consumer compliance regulations including UDAAP, Reg Z, Reg E, Reg B, Reg DD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at influencing colleagues and peers.
- Comfortable functioning as both a manager and an individual contributor.
- A strong passion for consumer financial inclusion and fintech.
- A self-motivated individual who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Compliance certifications (e.g., CRCM) are preferred.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations is a plus.
