Job Title: Vice President Application Development

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Application Development team. As Vice President of Application Development, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in our software development processes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth through technology. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our application development capabilities, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 30 software professionals, driving performance and growth through effective leadership and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve application development capabilities, including process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Elevate project efficiency by implementing and enhancing Agile methodologies across the enterprise.
  • Guide the re-architecture of outdated applications, ensuring a seamless transition to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by setting and tracking performance metrics while striving for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a large portfolio of application development projects and teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of architecture and technology trends, particularly within a Microsoft.Net Platform environment (on-premises and Azure).
  • Strong background in change management and process improvement, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Solid experience with enterprise systems (Salesforce preferred) and systems integration.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical information to executive audiences.
