Our Care Team

Our Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Their responsibilities include:

  • Administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN)
  • Presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures
  • Taking vital signs or observing patients to detect response to medication, and reporting reactions
  • Restocking medication inventories
  • Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
