Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our Fund Administration team at Alter Domus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and training a team of Associate and Fund Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate accounting and analysis.
  • Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
