Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Correctional Counselor to join our team at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will provide counseling services to inmates, facilitating their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for inmates
  • Conduct counseling sessions to address substance abuse and other issues
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive support for inmates
  • Monitor and report on inmate progress
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and relevant work experience. A master's degree is preferred.

Applicants must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
