Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Monitor I to join our team at our facility. As a Monitor I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular facility counts and ensure accurate logbooks
  • Patrol buildings to observe and listen to residents, monitoring for any signs of unauthorized activity
  • Organize and supervise resident work details to maintain facility cleanliness
  • Perform urinalysis testing, pat downs, shakedowns, counts, and breath tests as needed
  • Document disciplinary action for rule violations and log accordingly
  • Communicate with residents and staff in a professional manner to affirm and enhance self-esteem and dignity
  • Participate in staff meetings to identify and resolve problems and function as a unified team
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of general work experience, with experience in a related field preferred
  • Current and active Driver's License
  • Sufficient organizational skills to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Ability to express thoughts logically in written and verbal form
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform a wide range of duties
