Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Monitor I to join our team at our facility. As a Monitor I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular facility counts and ensure accurate logbooks
- Patrol buildings to observe and listen to residents, monitoring for any signs of unauthorized activity
- Organize and supervise resident work details to maintain facility cleanliness
- Perform urinalysis testing, pat downs, shakedowns, counts, and breath tests as needed
- Document disciplinary action for rule violations and log accordingly
- Communicate with residents and staff in a professional manner to affirm and enhance self-esteem and dignity
- Participate in staff meetings to identify and resolve problems and function as a unified team
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of general work experience, with experience in a related field preferred
- Current and active Driver's License
- Sufficient organizational skills to maintain a smooth workflow
- Ability to express thoughts logically in written and verbal form
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform a wide range of duties
