Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preliminary physical tests, including measuring vital signs and recording patient information.
  • Prepare patients for healthcare provider visits and administer ordered medications and/or vaccines.
  • Draw and collect blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, and perform routine tests, including EKGs.
  • Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and communicate test results and plans of care to patients.
  • Document patient plans of care, tests, and examination results in the medical record.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
