Job Title: Palliative Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team at JPS Health. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with serious illnesses.

About the Role:
  • Administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents/fellows in each of the ACGME competency areas.
  • Demonstrate experience in clinical practice, education, scholarly activity, and a career commitment to academic medicine.
  • Provide a role model for family-oriented, continuous and comprehensive care in the office, hospital, and other community settings.
  • Collaborate with operations/clinic directors regarding clinic resources, supervision, and a practice style that will emphasize family-oriented care and prevention.
Requirements:
  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • 3 years experience in palliative care, experience in training fellows/residents.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certification in palliative care.
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
