As a Palliative Care Physician, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating residents and fellows in each of the ACGME competency areas.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents and fellows in each of the ACGME competency areas
  • Demonstrate experience in clinical practice, education, scholarly activity, and a career commitment to academic medicine
  • Provide a role model for family-oriented, continuous and comprehensive care in the office, hospital, and other community settings
  • Collaborate with operations/clinic directors regarding clinic resources, supervision, and a practice style that will emphasize family-oriented care and prevention
  • Adhere to all the duties as stated in the Medical Education Affiliation Agreements
Requirements
  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • 3 years experience in palliative care, experience in training fellows/residents
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Board Certification in palliative care
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
