Your RoleWe are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our Finance & Accounting team amidst our rapid growth. This role involves meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in managing financial operations, ensuring the delivery of precise and timely information essential for our expanding business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the general ledger accounting processes for foreign entities, including the preparation and approval of journal entries, local reporting package reviews, and conducting essential flux analysis and reconciliations.
- Facilitate the transition of international accounting functions from external firms to an in-house Formlabs accounting team, providing ongoing support and training to local teams.
- Document and comprehend various global accounting processes and critical accounting issues.
- Conduct monthly foreign exchange re-measurements for all entities, analyzing FX gains or losses and performing reconciliations.
- Assist with statutory reporting and local audit processes, including preparing transaction details and supporting documentation for local requests, and reviewing drafts of statutory financial statements.
- Collaborate with the Financial Systems team, FP&A, and regional leaders to drive system enhancements and efficiencies for accurate management reporting.
- Contribute to accelerated close timelines by engaging in various accounting aspects of the close process, including posting accruals, reclassifications, and reserves.
- Manage inter-company transactions, including recording inter-company inventory purchases, transfer pricing adjustments, and monthly eliminations.
- Work alongside the Technical Accounting team to establish accounting policies and implement essential controls.
- Support annual audit processes and collaborate with various business teams on special initiatives.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience, with a blend of public accounting and industry experience preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance.
- Extensive experience in international accounting and multi-currency transactions is highly required.
- Hands-on experience with intercompany processes is essential.
- Experience in cross-functional project management is required.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with all levels of employees, management, and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Direct experience with ERP systems is required.
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
- CPA certification.
- Familiarity with NetSuite.
- A passion for mentoring, coaching, and cross-training within your team.
