Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Education Associate to join our team at the University of New Mexico. The successful candidate will provide assistance in the development and delivery of training programs, as well as preparation and distribution of educational materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to meet the needs of our students and faculty.
  • Prepare and distribute educational materials, including training manuals, guides, and other resources.
  • Provide advisement and support to students and faculty, including guidance on academic policies and procedures.
  • Conduct specified training and technical assistance programs, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, such as education, training, or program development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a similar role or in a related field, such as education or training.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with training delivery and facilitation, including the use of technology and multimedia resources.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
