Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery
    • Assist in marketing services to the community, referral sources, and stakeholders.
    • Attend individual pre-placement meetings and ensure designated team members attend meetings for all individuals.
    • Ensure services are provided as written on the individual plan.
    • Audit service delivery notes and day habilitation notes.
    • Track services and review documentation of service providers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all regulations and laws.
    • Oversee the purchase of adaptive aids and necessary home modifications.
    • Review individual utilization sheets for over/under utilization and adjust as necessary.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Directly supervise administrative team members, program directors, DSPs, clinical team, and maintenance team members.
    • Responsible for employment actions, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, rewarding, evaluating, and terminating employees.
    • Ensure all team members are trained on the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Caregiver and individual plans.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the efficient use of resources, including costs associated with vehicle maintenance and usage, grocery expenditures, utilities, and payroll costs.
    • Authorize expenses up to $500.00.
    Requirements
    • Excellent writing and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a professional environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Indiana Medicaid Waiver programs (preferred).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
    • Bachelor's degree in a social services field strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
