Role Overview

  • Support and/or administer prescribed medications to residents as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to medication management.
  • Alert LVN/LPN regarding any adverse medication reactions.
  • Assist with the management of medication refills.
  • Update resident records as required.

Qualifications

  • AZ Caregiver Certification is mandatory.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR is required.
  • Completion of coursework or training in medication administration is advantageous but not essential.
