The Regional Sales Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for managing, prospecting, and securing accounts within the designated territory, adhering to divisional standards, with a focus on the Strategic Partnerships sector. This role involves formulating a sales strategy and executing the corresponding action plan, supported by the management team and departmental consensus. Building and nurturing strong, positive relationships with accounts is essential to drive sales growth and achieve set sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Development:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and account management while ensuring sales and profitability in the assigned region.
  • Drive sales growth and identify future opportunities through proactive prospecting.
  • Engage with accounts, qualify leads, conduct presentations, and close sales generated from prospecting efforts.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry events, including trade shows and seminars.

Sales Strategy Formulation:

  • Create a sales strategy for the assigned territory, outlining specific actions to meet or exceed regional sales objectives.
  • Analyze current and prospective customers, providing sales forecasts in units and revenue by product.
  • Monitor sales activities within the territory and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.
  • Provide insights to sales and marketing management for informed strategic decisions.

Administrative Duties & Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly calendars and weekly sales reports detailing sales opportunities (closed, in progress, and inactive).
  • Maintain an organized and proactive calendar with all current and upcoming sales appointments.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years in a sales role with client interaction; experience managing accounts in a defined region, particularly in the small to medium business sector; proven track record of driving business growth.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the printer/scanner/labeling market or a similar industry, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the "computer peripheral" sector (e.g., Printer/Fax/MFC products & solutions).
  • Familiarity with SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to foster positive client relationships.
  • Proven capability to drive sales and close accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively.

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
  • Salary will be determined based on education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
  • This position is eligible for Brother's variable pay incentive plan(s), with bonus awards contingent upon individual and corporate performance.
  • Benefits include healthcare coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and Paid Time Off.
