Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources and Office Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all HR functions, payroll, accounting, purchasing, and other office support roles for a small business. This is a highly integrated position, interfacing with every department internally.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Functions: Manage and coordinate all HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training, employee handbook, performance evaluations, and separation processes.
  • Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Office Operations: Manage office operations, including office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and attendance records.
Requirements
  • HR Management Software: Proficiency in HR management software, including QuickBooks, Paychex, and other HR systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Office Management: Familiarity with office management and maintenance.
  • Payroll Administration: Experience with payroll administration and management of employee benefits.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Team Management: Experience with team management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Document Management: Proficiency in document management.
  • Education and Experience: BA/BS degree in Business preferred, along with 4-7 years of work-related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365.
