Job OverviewThe Therapist II role at Novant Health is responsible for providing complete patient assessments, planning therapeutic interventions, and implementing treatment plans. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering remarkable patient experiences and upholding the Novant Health mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care through thorough assessments, treatment planning, and implementation.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and maintain a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in mental health and substance use disorders.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Clinic Psychologist (required for some roles). For Substance Use Therapist roles, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate is required.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development. Our estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
