About the Role:

As a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and precision at SIG SAUER, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical inspections and dimensioning, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Execute moderately complex setups and inspection programs, diagnosing and resolving issues that may arise in reported output and calibration.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and other disciplines to resolve quality issues and drive root cause analysis.
  • Participate in problem-solving teams to prevent customer escapes and maintain high-quality products.
  • Contribute to 5S activities and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-6 years of related work experience.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, dimensioning, and inspection techniques.
  • Effective communication skills to share problems and corrective actions with supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software.

Working Environment:

  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks while standing (90%+ of the shift) except for lunch and break periods.
  • Shifts vary from 8 to 12 hours, with occasional overtime required based on business needs.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required and comply with EH&S training requirements.
