Wastewater Infrastructure Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Wastewater Infrastructure Inspector to join our team at RED Rochester LLC. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing the wastewater transmission and collection systems at the Eastman Business Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

The successful candidate will have experience with storm and sanitary sewer components, including UG pipe structures, junctions, bends, interchanges, clean-outs, manholes, and associated drain or floor drain structures. They will also be familiar with MAXIMO, the work order management system used by RED Rochester LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the RED Rochester team supervisor, maintenance planner, and operations staff regarding the current status, performance, and needs of assigned locations.
  • Assist in developing standard preventive maintenance routines to ensure maximum equipment uptime and lifespan.
  • Clean and repair storm and sanitary sewer components, including UG pipe structures, junctions, bends, interchanges, clean-outs, manholes, and associated drain or floor drain structures.
  • Document all actions within the MAXIMO work order management system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2 years of applicable and relatable experience (or comparable military service experience within defined trade)
  • Applicable associate degree preferred, but not required

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
