Job Summary:

Salem-Keizer Public Schools seeks a skilled School Counselor to join our team. As a School Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive guidance and counseling program to promote students' academic achievement, career decision-making, and personal-social growth.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community members to provide support and resources to students.
  • Act as a consultant to school staff, providing guidance on student-related matters.
  • Plan and deliver workshops, presentations, and other programs to promote students' well-being and academic success.

Requirements:

  • Valid Counseling Certificate required.
  • 1.0 FTE position.
  • Permanent status.
  • Salary is prorated based on FTE.
