Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Level Recruiting. As a Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring quality and integrity of workmanship, and managing a team of tradespeople.
Main Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Demonstrate the highest level of customer service, professionalism, and craftsmanship.
- Production Scheduling: Communicate production schedules and estimated manpower needs for upcoming work with adequate advance notice for planning and execution.
- Staff Management: Set schedule for staff and work with superintendents as needed.
- Progress Reporting: Provide daily progress reports of projects, including client concerns, project needs, etc.
- Subcontractor Management: Direct subcontractors of project schedule.
- Material Management: Assess and confirm material lead times and purchase orders to maintain project schedule.
- Efficiency: Take responsibility for the efficient use of the company's time, manpower, and materials on each project.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an operational inventory of tools, safety equipment, and supplies to perform specific activities as assigned.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality and integrity of workmanship is maintained by all parties and is impeccable.
- Estimating and Reporting: Prepare project estimates and site reports daily/as needed.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to perform all duties of a plumber, electrician, or carpenter on any given day.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid CA driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation, preferably a truck or a van.
- Experience: A minimum of five years' experience working in high-end residential construction, preferably as a carpenter.
- Skills: Ability to lay out construction, remodeling, and alteration work, read blueprints, familiar with construction safety practices, experience in respectful management and customer service practices, and computer literate.
- Bilingual: Bilingual - Spanish.
- Project Coordination: Project coordination/management experience.
- Modular Construction: Experience with modular construction highly desirable.
- Heavy Equipment: Experience with heavy equipment like skid steers or mini excavators highly desirable.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in office and construction environments.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, bend, go up and down stairs and ladders, and reach while performing office and site duties.
- Hand and Finger Abilities: Ability to use hands to operate tools or controls.
- Communication Abilities: Ability to use a telephone to communicate verbally and a computer to communicate through email and review information and enter/retrieve data.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Weather Conditions: Exposure to heat and/or cold, and inclement weather.
- Environmental Conditions: Exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
