About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arbrook Plaza. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and other delegated measurements
  • Recognize and report any changes in patient health status or responses to treatment
  • Communicate effectively with other caregivers to ensure continuity of care
  • Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by a licensed professional
  • Provide general support to the department, including greeting and assisting patients and staff
Requirements
  • CNA certification in good standing
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, with experience in long-term care preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and transfer residents (up to 100 pounds unassisted), bend, twist, push and pull
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and nurse aide techniques
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to prepare and maintain accurate resident charts and reports
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving and independent thinking skills
