Job Summary

Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to provide part-time coverage in the evenings and on weekends.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience and be certified as a Medical Assistant. The role involves working as a team with other medical assistants to room patients, prepare them for examination, and document their medical history.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and injections, monitor patient response, and document treatment and medication administration.
  • Assist clinical staff with examinations and procedures, and triage walk-in patients and emergency calls.
  • Check blood pressures, schedule referral appointments, and educate patients on treatment plans.
  • Follow universal precautions to protect patients and staff, and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support certification and MA certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
