About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Health Services. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to patients and their families, promoting dignity and comfort in their final stages of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assist patients with light meals and feeding, as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
  • Assist with certain treatments, as ordered on the aide plan of care and as allowable in state-specific regulations.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Document accurate visit itineraries and attend staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • At least six months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
