Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to contribute to our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering design, a current Professional Engineer (PE) license or a commitment to obtaining one, and proficiency in design software.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and design civil engineering projects, including site development, roadway design, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools to create and modify project designs.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or intention to pursue one, with an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
