Job Summary

As a Customer Service Leader at Food Lion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our valued customers. This role requires a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Smile and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
  • Avoid personal conversations with other associates when customers are present.
  • Maintain knowledge of office procedures, including cash reports, register checkups, deposits, Western Union, money orders, and Coinstar.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
