Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Counter Sales Representative to join our team at PACE Supply in Sacramento, CA. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the face of our customer service, providing exceptional support to our customers and sharing your knowledge of plumbing and products to advise on purchases.

Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
  • Verify quantities and quality of received material and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles safely and accurately.
  • Perform cycle counts and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Conduct sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Enter customer orders, branch transfers, and obtain quotation information.
  • Follow up on customer orders and resolve problems to their satisfaction.
  • Provide product/job quotes and communicate policies and procedures to customers.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch and report back orders and material discrepancies.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and inform manager of any hazardous conditions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required.
  • Basic knowledge of products in Warehouse, Plumbing, Retail/Customer Service Environments required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, 2+ years of counter experience preferred.
  • Plumbing knowledge and industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
