Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling: Maintain petty cash drawers, balance daily, and prepare daily deposits for all bank accounts.
  • Accounts Receivable: Create and process batch payments, monitor and respond to student billing inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist students, parents, and faculty members with financial-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Financial Administration: Maintain and organize the Student Financial Services filing system, provide administrative support to the department, and perform general receptionist duties.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in higher education, banking, accounting, or related business field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

The Financial Services Clerk/Cash Receipts will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Student Financial Services and will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
