Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate timely and precise Profit and Loss statements.
  • Execute accurate journal entries and accruals.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes.
  • Audit daily income journals for accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable functions.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and process bi-monthly payroll.
  • Establish internal control systems to ensure the reliability of financial documents and adherence to reporting policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships by promptly addressing inquiries from property leadership with professionalism and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft 365/One Drive suite.
  • Experience with Sage accounting software is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to adapt to various accounting platforms with ease.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to handle issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • A degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
