Position Overview

The Financial Aid department has a critical team of Financial Aid Specialists across the country who interact with potential and active students on a daily basis. Our Financial Aid Specialists serve as the point of contact to assist students and their families in navigating the complex world of financial aid.

Responsibilities

* Provide guidance and support to students and their families throughout the financial aid process.
* Answer inquiries, address concerns, and offer advice on available financial aid resources.
* Assist students in completing financial aid applications, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other relevant forms.
* Review applications for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
* Evaluate students' financial circumstances to determine their eligibility for various financial aid programs.
* Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies governing financial aid programs.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Strong analytical skills to assess financial need and eligibility criteria accurately.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and concise information to diverse audiences.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ethical and professional conduct, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of student information.
