About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a key member of our Civil Works team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil works projects for a variety of Federal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex civil design calculations and write specifications for Federal projects
  • Develop cost estimates and prepare site and utility layouts for a wide range of clients
  • Lead civil work designs for conventional sites, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians to review and recommend required changes to drawings
  • Attend multi-discipline design meetings and interact with clients to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Conveyance Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • At least 10 years relevant professional experience for civil works design projects
  • Federal design experience for USACE
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
  • Knowledge of design codes & standards (International Building Code, UFC's etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff
  • Federal design experience for DoD, Federal Civilian and/or Defense Contractor project experience
  • Heavy civil works experience with onsite participation in construction activities
  • Experience with MicroStation
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations
