Job Overview

BBA Pumps is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Municipal Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the municipal market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at municipalities, government agencies, and distributors.
  • Promote BBA Pumps products through sales calls and presentations, both in person and virtually.
  • Travel within assigned territory to meet with customers and prospects.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and goals to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Utilize the company CRM to track sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and the sales team through email, phone, and text messaging.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and sales team requests.
  • Participate in daily sales calls and provide updates to the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the municipal or government sector.
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
