Job Summary:

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Toddler Educator to join our team. As a Lead Toddler Educator, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom that fosters a deep sense of community and meets the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Montessori method and meets the needs of each child.
  • Lead a team of educators in creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages independence, self-motivation, and social responsibility.
  • Partner with parents to ensure a seamless transition between home and school, and to provide regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and incorporate new ideas and approaches into the classroom.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Montessori certification for the 0-3 year old age group.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a group setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
